How do I return or exchange an item purchased on shopdny.com?
A) Regular Return Policy
- You have 14 days to decide if an item is right for you.
- D&Y will refund an item, provided that it has not been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn and that all labels and tags are attached. Proof of purchase in the form of a order number must be provided.
- D&Y reserves the right to refuse a refund if these conditions aren't met.
- No sale items or hair accessories are eligible for refunds.
- Shipping cost for regular returns are paid for by the customer.
2) Manufacture Defect Return Policy
- You have up to 14 days to return or exchange a defective item.
- D&Y will refund or exchange an item if manufacturer's damage has occured after being worn.
- Shipping cost for items that are manufacture defects will be be covered by David and Young.
3) How to make a Return or Exchange for an item purchased on shopdny.com?
- An email must be first sent to firstname.lastname@example.org . The title of the email must state whether or not the item is a Return or Exchange the body of the email please include an order number and reason for return or exchange.
- Upon receiving the customer's query by email D&Y will send a return email containing a return authorization number.
- Send the items back to 903 Castle Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094 with the order number and return authorization number clearly written on the package.
- It may take 4-5 business days for your return to reach the David & Young warehouse. Once it is received and inspected your refund will be processed. An email notification will be sent and a refund will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take additional 3-5 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
